16-year-old girl struck by car while crossing Grove Street in Brockton. What we know

BROCKTON — A 16-year-old pedestrian was struck by a car while crossing Grove Street near Lawrence Street in Brockton shortly before 2:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, according to police.

The girl was transported by Brewster Ambulance to South Shore Hospital, “where she is in stable condition,” Brockton police spokesperson Darren Duarte said in a written statement.
