Suspects in Providence 7-year-old’s murder remain held without bail

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — After three days of witness testimony and evidence, two Providence men will remain held without bail in connection with last month’s deadly shooting that claimed the life of a 7-year-old girl.

Ahmari Cabrera, 19, and Shaheem Nathaniel, 26, are accused of shooting at a car on Florence Street on the night of Aug. 29, leading to the death of Ny’Eil Pires.
