Video: Quick thoughts on what the Uchenna Nwosu injury means for the Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks will most likely not have pass rusher Uchenna Nwosu available for the opening portion of the regular season. An MCL sprain suffered in the preseason finale against the Cleveland Browns will put Nwosu out of commission for a reported 2-6 weeks, which makes him a candidate to go on injured reserve.

If Nwosu is on IR, he’ll miss at least four games, and if he isn’t on IR then the injury may not be as serious as feared. It’s nevertheless a concern for the Seahawks defense given last year’s struggles when he tore his pectoral muscle and was lost for most of the season.
