BOSTON — Boston firefighters worked overnight to extinguish a garbage chute fire that filled a high-rise building with smoke and carbon monoxide.
Fire officials said the incident at 35 Northampton St. was reported at approximately 11:15 p.m. Responding firefighters struck a second alarm to call for additional resources.
