Milwaukee issues advisory on high fire danger due to dry conditions

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) — The City of Milwaukee has issued an advisory about the risk of burning fires as gusty winds and dry vegetation have increased fire danger across Wisconsin. According to the Tuesday, Oct. 29 advisory, a lack of precipitation in recent weeks has led to moderate to severe drought levels statewide.

The Milwaukee Fire Department recommended avoiding outdoor burning until conditions improve. Burn permits for debris burning are currently suspended in some counties.
