The devastating wildfires ravaging Los Angeles have caused historic damage, mass evacuations and forced major entertainment and sports events to be postponed.
The Critics Choice Awards, set to take place on Sunday, have been pushed back until January 26. The awards show would have been held at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, just a few miles from the Pacific Palisades neighborhood where the fire is still burning.
Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Kings ‘ home game against Calgary Flames was also postponed, “in light of the devastating effects of the wildfire,” the NHL confirmed in a statement. A new date for the game has not yet been announced…
