RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – Dozens of volunteers and organizations throughout the region are ‘connecting’ to make sure those in need are prepared for winter.
Journey On, in cooperation with the Black Hills Regional Homeless Coalition, is hosting a Community Connect event on Wednesday for families or individuals in need.
Those who attend can receive clothing, dinnerware, bedding, food, STD testing, haircuts, and even a shower. Organizers say donations have come in from as far as Colorado to help bring the Black Hills community closer…
