Doris Luella (Harris) Weibert, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully Oct. 8, 2024, at the age of 94.
Born Sept. 25, 1930, to Lloyd A. (Ted) and Straucy Luella (Saunders) Harris, Doris spent her early years on a farm in Montana, where she developed a love for nature, animals and the simple joys of life.
Doris began her teaching career in a one-room country school nestled in the Wolf Mountains of Montana, a testament to her passion for nurturing young minds. On a sunny afternoon in January 1949 she married her soulmate, Fred John Weibert. Their union, which began just before the notorious Blizzard of ’49, marked the start of a remarkable 70-year adventure filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories…
