Man accused of breaking into 3 downtown Rapid City businesses makes initial appearance

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – A Rapid City man accused of breaking into three businesses in downtown Rapid City this month, appeared in magistrate court Tuesday morning for his initial appearance.

Michael Joseph Park, 28, was arrested on October 11 at Faith Temple Church for allegedly attempting to break in. He is also accused of earlier break-ins at Victoria’s Garden and Aby’s just this month.

He now faces several charges including possession or use of drug paraphernalia and third-degree burglary. He’s charged with entering or remaining in an unoccupied building to commit a crime…
