RAPID CITY — Twenty-six area runners, including Class B girls individual champion Ella Boekelheide of Northweternm and five area teams received honors in the South Dakota State Cross Country Championships on Saturday at the Hart Ranch Camping Resort.
Boekelheide, a junior, topped the field in the Class B girls’ race with a time of 19 minutes and 7.6 seconds for the 5,000-meter course.
