LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — A man will spend the rest of his life in prison for killing a Lancaster County woman in 2021, officials announced.
Robert Boddy, 45, was sentenced Monday to spend life in prison plus 32.5 years in the murder of of Nora Sanchez, 65, of New Holland, the Lancaster County District Attorney’s office said in a news release.

Boddy had previously pleaded guilty to charges first degree homicide, strangulation, and aggravated indecent assault, which was a second-time offense for Boddy. He also entered pleas to failure to register information as a Megan’s Law offender and forgery charges, according to the release.
According to the DA, Sanchez’s cause of death was from strangulation with evidence of sexual assault. Her body was found at her apartment, located along the 300 block of E. Main Street, after police were called for a welfare check.
