Lancaster City shooting leaves one juvenile male hospitalized

LANCASTER CITY, Pa. (WHTM) — A juvenile male was hospitalized after a shooting occurred in Lancaster City last night.

According to the Lancaster City Bureau of Police, on September 20 at around 10 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 600 block of Almanac Avenue for a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, police say they encountered a 16-year-old male victim who sustained a gunshot wound to the leg. The victim was immediately sent to the hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries, per police.

Witnesses say an argument escalated which led to two parties exchanging gunfire. No word on who was involved, at this time…
