Suspect arrested after stabbing man in face with sword in Seattle

SEATTLE — A man accused of using a sword to stab someone in Seattle was taken into custody Wednesday morning, according to police.

The suspect, a 41-year-old man, got into an argument at an apartment complex on Eighth Avenue South early Wednesday, according to police. The argument escalated and the suspect pulled out a concealed sword from a cane and slashed the victim in the lower lip.

The 51-year-old man who was cut by the sword met with officers just after 6:30 a.m. and was treated until paramedics arrived. The victim was taken to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition, according to police…
