Nevada’s public education system, long plagued by underfunding and structural inefficiencies, is poised for a transformative breakthrough thanks to the visionary leadership of Senate Majority Leader Nicole Cannizzaro, D-Las Vegas. Her proposed $500 million education reform bill, which she outlined publicly last week, represents a bold, comprehensive effort to tackle systemic issues head-on and secure a brighter future for Nevada’s K-12 students — especially those in the Clark County School District, the state’s largest district.
