For the second year in a row, the Nevada National Guard has been called to support first responders during the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix from November 20th through 24th.
On state orders, the Nevada Guard will be activating about 80 soldiers and airmen to reinforce security and emergency response capabilities as this year’s race is expected to bring 300,000 people to Las Vegas.
