Nevada higher ed gets $3.9M to tackle physician shortage

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – The Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) is set to receive a grant to boost the number of primary care physicians in Nevada.

The $3.9 million grant is from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and will help focus on medically underserved communities.
