Injury Update: Leonard Williams questionable to return

The Seattle Seahawks made a big splash at the trade deadline in 2023, acquiring defensive lineman Leonard Williams from the New York Giants. The Seahawks avoided Williams being an expensive half-season rental when they signed him to a hefty three-year contract when free agency arrived in the offseason, making Williams one of the keys up front for new head coach Mike Macdonald.

However, early in the Hawks matchup against the Miami Dolphins, Williams was evaluated by medical personnel on the sideline prior to heading to the locker room. It did not take long before the team announced that Williams is questionable to return against the Fins due to a rib injury.

If Williams is unable to play further against Miami, it could prove significant for a defense that is already playing without both Uchenna Nwosu and Jerome Baker…
