Husband accused of murdering wife in Manassas Park denied bond for second time

MANASSAS PARK, Va. ( DC News Now ) — The husband who is accused of killing and hiding his missing wife’s body in Manassas Park was denied bond for a second time in court Friday.

Naresh Bhatt appeared in court to ask to be released from jail on bond for a second time to which he was denied.

Bhatt has been arrested and charged with concealing a dead body after his wife, Mamta Kafle Bhatt, went missing in late July.

Supporters of Kafle Bhatt held a rally for her after her husband was denied bond again. They said prosecutors are accusing Bhatt of killing her and then dismembering her body, putting it in bags and disposing of it in dumpsters and trash compactors around Northern Virginia.
