Scattered rain/snow showers Monday, next winter storm takes aim late Tuesday into Wednesday

NWS Pendleton has issued a Winter Storm Warning in place for the eastern slopes of the Cascades (above 2,000’) until 10 PM Monday.

Today: Scattered showers (snow above 1,500’) will be prevalent throughout Monday, especially in the mountains and foothills. The valleys and basin will stay mostly dry. Look below for potential rainfall and snowfall amounts. Skies will range from partly to mostly cloudy, and highs will be seasonal. It’ll be in the upper-20s in the Cascades, with mid-30s in the Blues. Expect mid-40s in the Kittitas Valley, Yakima Valley, and Blue Foothills, with low-50s in the Lower Columbia Basin.
