DANVILLE, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) — A petition set up by a Danville citizen on Change.org is demanding several officers with the local police department be fired after an alleged incident of excessive force in October.
The petition, written on Wednesday, called for the “immediate dismissal” of officer T.J. Godbey as well as two other officers who were present with him when he allegedly struck a man with dementia.
