Come out for an evening jam-packed with live rock ‘n’ roll, rhythm and blues, new wave and more, all to help provide a warm home for some brave beasts and cuddle-able critters. This Saturday, Jan. 25, rock out with Radioblast — one of New Mexico’s coolest cover bands — at The Historic Lobo Theater for the Rock and Rescue: A Night For The Animals concert and fundraiser for Roots Animal Sanctuary.
“I try to help anyone who has this same agenda — raising awareness for animal abuse and trying to help animals in distress,” Rock and Rescue co-organizer Olivier Renard says.
Renard — who goes by the fitting nickname “Fox” — is an animal activist who endorses a vegan lifestyle and promotes vegan restaurants and businesses.
