Registered Sex Offender from Bloomington Charged with Possession of CSAM and Firearm by San Bernardino County Authorities

A Bloomington man is facing multiple charges after law enforcement officials found a substantial amount of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in his possession. Gordon Radel, a 41-year-old registered sex offender, was taken into custody by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department on August 14, following investigations sparked by a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, as reported by the SBSD – Fontana Sheriff’s Department.

The tip, which came in July, led authorities to discover that the Fontana Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Child Taskforce was already actively investigating Radel. The coordinated effort of both agencies resulted in detectives authorizing several search warrants, ultimately revealing over 600 images and videos identified as CSAM at Radel’s properties, as per the SBSD – Fontana Sheriff’s Department.
