Shelter-in-place issued for residents near North 30th Street in Tampa

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A Shelter-in-place has been lifted for residents within a four-block radius of East Bougainvillea Avenue and North 30th Street in Tampa due to a natural gas leak.

Tampa Fire Rescue responded to a natural gas leak at North 30th Street around 5:50 a.m.

According to TECO, they are working to assess and repair an 8-inch natural gas pipeline that was damaged by third-party construction equipment…
