FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ) – A Henry County man has been arrested after an investigation into reports of drug trafficking at an inn in Franklin County.
The investigation began August 30, 2024, when the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office conducted surveillance regarding reported trafficking at the Lake Inn, in the Westlake area, according to the Sheriff’s Office. Deputies received information that Bobby Nathaniel Courtney, 27, was wanted on outstanding criminal charges and was possibly at the Lake Inn. Deputies say they saw Courtney running into a room there, and exiting shortly thereafter. He was taken into custody on his outstanding warrants.
Further investigation led to a search of the room in which Courtney had been staying, according to the Sheriff’s Office. The search resulted in the seizure of the following items:…
