Syracuse won’t be THAT bad again. It turned it over five times in an ugly 41-13 loss at Pitt, but even with that whiff there’s a chance to potentially do something special over the finishing kick with Miami still on the slate. For now, winning this and getting bowl eligible would be a big moment in the first year of the Fran Brown era. Virginia Tech won three straight after the controversial should’ve-been-win loss at Miami. The defense has stepped it up, the offense is rolling, and at 3-1 in the ACC, it’s knee-deep in the conference race with a shot at something massive with Clemson up next.
