ROCHESTER, Minn.- The Rochester City Council approved the final plat for Mayo Clinic’s West Transit Village project, on Monday, Jan. 6.
The plan hopes to add new housing and new parking infrastructure on the site of a Mayo Clinic parking lot near Cascade Lake to coincide with the construction of the city’s upcoming Link Bus Rapid Transit System, which will be starting construction in this spring.
Patrick Seeb, executive director for Destination Medical Center, says that DMC is excited to see the project moving forward after the massive amount of collaboration involved between the City, Mayo, DMC and the developers at Kraus Anderson and Aeon to make it happen…
