‘I’m for it’: Businesses react to new security checkpoints on East End

Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM)— Mayor Malik Evans released details Friday about a “Special Events Zone” created to improve safety for bar and restaurant patrons on Saturday nights in the East End of the city — a popular night spot. This is part of Evans’ ongoing gun violence state of emergency.
