Crews battling 2-alarm fire at north Charlotte restaurant

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Crews battled a two-alarm fire at a north Charlotte restaurant Thursday night.

According to the Charlotte Fire Department, a fire broke out just after 9 p.m. Sept. 26 in the 1300 block of West Sugar Creek Road, just off Interstate 85 North. Firefighters arrived with smoke and fire showing from the building, and the second alarm was pulled at 9:30 p.m.

Crews reported that the fire was controlled in 47 minutes. No injuries were reported to firefighters or civilians…
