This Sunday (8/25) is Dr. Dennis & Vicki Palmer Day in Aledo. Aledo Mayor Chris Hagloch signed a proclamation recognizing the two at Monday night’s Aledo City Council meeting.
Dr. Palmer provided health care for area residents for 48 years and was a founding member of the Aledo Civic Center Authority, which paved the way for construction of the Mercer County Family YMCA.
Mrs. Palmer served as Mercer Foundation for Health Chair and was instrumental for the clinic building and capital campaign for renovations to the hospital. Hagloch says they’ve made a difference.
