ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – It’s been a dreary day today, but temperatures have gone down rather nicely. Rainfall totals are slightly above an inch and a quarter at the Rockford airport and we have surly needed it. Rain for the most part is wrapping up with evening ahead. Clouds will start to fade as we head into the morning with sunshine expected by tomorrow. Lows will drop to the lower 50s overnight tonight making for a pleasant night.
Monday is look fantastic as highs are seasonable in the lower 70s, with partly cloudy skies. If you want to get out and enjoy a nice fall day, Monday is the day.
