In honor of Old Town Pizza celebrating 25 years of operation this year, the Placer County Board of Supervisors presented the pizza joint with a commendation Tuesday.
Old Town celebrated its silver anniversary in July. The original location in Old Town Auburn opened in July 1999 and has since expanded to a multi-restaurant operation with locations in Auburn, Lincoln and Roseville.
“It is appropriate at this time to highlight its history of achievement and underscore the positive impact it has had within the communities it serves,” the commendation states, noting Old Town Pizza contributes to the Placer community’s success and sustainability as it gives back through hosting and participating in fundraising events for local schools, public safety agencies and nonprofit organizations…
