Kuhn Aviation, a private aviation company based at the Leesburg Airport, is working with the Operation Airdrop organization to rush much needed emergency supplies to areas hard hit by Hurricane Helene.
Kuhn is using one of its hangars as a staging area for more than 10,000 pounds of supplies — with more coming in.
From there, private pilots will ferry donations to hard hit communities — including many in remote areas of the Southeast that may have been cut off due to roads or bridges being washed out.
