A repeat sex offender wanted for the rape of a young boy is likely on the lam in the Dallas, Texas, area.
Duryl Wayne Mixon Jr. faces a rape charge in Clark County. An indictment filed this week alleges that Mixon, 43, is responsible for the rape of a prepubescent male.
Law enforcement became involved in the case in July 2024 when the victim relayed to a relative that he had been sodomized, sometime between February and April 2024. A subsequent interview at a child safety center in Northwest Arkansas led authorities to charge Mixon with the rape, which allegedly occurred at his residence in Clark County.
