An overnight snow and ice storm didn’t leave much snow behind, but Wilson residents still took the rare wintry occurrence to enjoy the icy outdoors Saturday morning.
Rich Fulling made his daily morning walk on Broad Street, but on Saturday, the scenery was sparkling with brilliant shining ice and icicles clinging to trees and utility lines.
“It is beautiful, absolutely beautiful,” Fulling said. “With the sun shining through it is just unbelievable. I wasn’t sure I’d see it because I looked out last night and wasn’t sure I’d see much.”…
