Fayetteville gathering historic records of Spout Springs neighborhood

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — The city of Fayetteville is working to capture the history of one neighborhood by telling the stories of the residents who live there.

The city is working on a historical context statement for the Spout Spring neighborhood east of downtown.

It held a meeting on Sept. 24 to get the stories, photographs and history of the families living in the neighborhood.

Decision on lofts off of Nelson Hackett Boulevard in Fayetteville reversed by planners
