The biggest riser in this week’s SEC power rankings is Texas A&M. First-year head coach Mike Elko and the Aggies are trending positively after a thorough dismantling of Mizzou in a 31-point victory on Saturday in College Station.
Texas A&M’s offense looked like a well-oiled machine in quarterback Conner Weigman’s return from an upper-body injury in Week 6. After starting SEC play 3-0, the Aggies have a pretty favorable schedule that doesn’t feature a single ranked SEC team on the road away from Kyle Field.

Georgia and head coach Kirby Smart notched a nice rebound victory last weekend by a convincing double-digit margin over Auburn at home. The Georgia offense has some lingering issues to resolve, but it does look like that side of the ball is improving since the second half of the loss to Alabama on the road a couple of weeks ago…
