ROSEVILLE – Wyatt King III, 47, was sentenced Dec. 16, 2024, to 58 years to life, plus 44 years, for the burglary and assault of an elderly couple in their Roseville home last year. The sentence was handed down by Judge Horst in Placer County Superior Court.
In July 2023, Roseville police reported that a burglar broke into the couple’s home after shattering a rear sliding glass door. The suspect, later identified as King, had been knocking on doors in the neighborhood, possibly to check if residents were home. Once inside, he used threats and physical force to control the victim, a woman in her 70s.
