The lawsuit brought by former WNEM anchor David Custer is moving forward.
Custer’s suit alleges that the Saginaw, Michigan CBS affiliate violated protections under Michigan law and the Elliott-Larsen Civil Rights Act. The state act protects individuals from discrimination in various areas of public life, including employment. It prohibits discrimination in employment based on religion, race, color, national origin, age, sex, height, weight, or marital status.
