MT. MORRIS TWP, MI – In a decisive victory, 68.52% of voters supported the proposal by Westwood Heights Schools to renew and slightly increase its operating millage, according to unofficial results.
With a total of 2,109 votes cast, the proposal renews the current rate of 17.7268 mills on non-exempt properties for 10 years, from 2025 to 2034, while adding a 0.5 mill increase to offset revenue lost due to the “Headlee” amendment, which limits property tax increases.
