Kayse Deann Layfield, 48, of Sparks, Georgia, is facing additional charges after being rearrested following an investigation by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE). Layfield, a former family care counselor, was initially arrested in March for failing to report child abuse while supervising a Taylor County child dependency case.
The new charges stem from Layfield allegedly committing perjury during a child custody hearing.
