TAMPA, Fla. – A united effort by several law enforcement agencies in Florida cracked down on dangerous driving and street racing on major bridges in the Tampa Bay area. This initiative, called ‘Operation Keep Our Streets,’ aimed to improve safety for the community.
The operation coincided with the launch of Senate Bill 1764, which strengthens penalties for street racing and protects emergency vehicles responding to such events.
