Missouri Man Busted Going 107 MPH While Playing a Video Game

This might be the greatest example of distracted driving ever and it’s a miracle that no one was injured. A Missouri man is accused by police of playing video games while he was clocked doing 107 mph behind the wheel.

I saw this incredible report just shared by The Smoking Gun. They say that a 25-year-old guy named Dakota Trevon Crater was pulled over a few days ago driving on I-55 10 miles north of Kansas City, Missouri. The police report is astonishing in its details which include the following:

  • He was allegedly driving 107 mph in a 65 mph zone
  • He was allegedly driving on a suspended license
  • He allegedly said that he didn’t know he was speeding because he was busy playing a video game which might be his favorite which is “My Hero Ultra Rumble”

The report says there are other vehicular crimes that he’s being charged with also, but they do not specify.

For what it’s worth, Time Calculator estimates that you travel 300 feet in just 2 seconds when you’re driving 107 mph. That’s barely the blink of an eye where your eyes on a screen could mean serious injury or death for you and/or others…
