CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) – January 11 marks National Human Trafficking Awareness Day, bringing attention to a problem impacting thousands of people each year, including adults, children, men and women.
According to the National Human Trafficking Hotline, just shy of 17,000 people were identified as victims of human trafficking in 2023.
