Tampa police will have ‘eyes in the sky’ for Gasparilla parade security

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The recent terror attack in New Orleans has made many people nervous about security at large events.

This weekend is the Gasparilla Children’s Parade, followed by the main Parade of Pirates on Saturday, Jan. 25.

With the terror attack in New Orleans, the Tampa Police Department said officials are taking a new look at this year’s security plans for the parade.
