Haverhill is having a final public hearing this year on plans to seek federal money for roadway improvements along River Street, Water Street and Lincoln Avenue.
As WHAV reported in August, the city plans to compete for a Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity—RAISE, for short—grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation. The affected areas are River Street, between Maxwell and Washington Streets; Water Street, between Mill and Keeley Streets; and Lincoln Avenue, between Keeley and Groveland Streets.
