Newberg, Forest Grove’s De La Rosa lead local contingent at 23rd Reser’s Tournament of Champions

For the first time in its now 23-year history the Reser’s Tournament of Champions was held outside of Hillsboro, and per usual — it didn’t disappoint.

The prestigious wrestling event consists of the state’s top wrestling programs across all classifications, and offers Oregon’s premiere grapplers an opportunity to put their skills to the test against their peers.

Crater won the team event, but amongst the finishers were a number of local standouts who did themselves, their teams and their schools proud on Saturday, Jan. 25, at Sherwood High School…
