City revisits dangerous structure, approves land donation

Roof repairs have started at the former nursing home located at 1601 W. First Street in Abilene. The Abilene City Commission decided to give the caretaker of the building a deadline of March 31, 2025, to finish the roof or the structure will be demolished.
