Matt was born on July 25, 1968, in Frankfurt, Germany to Antonio and Rachael Chavez. Matt’s passion for sports was evident from a young age. He loved playing baseball and fast pitch as well as coaching little league or just sitting in the stands. He was a dedicated fan of the Denver Broncos, New York Yankees, and Michigan, often rallying friends and family alike to cheer for his teams. Sundays were not just game days; they were a time for family, filled with laughter, stories, and love, as Matt would make his routine calls to check in on those he cherished most.
