TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)— The most recent snowstorm kept many kids cooped up nearly all week. Saturday’s chess tournament at Topeka Collegiate provided children from all over Northeast Kansas with the opportunity to partake in friendly competition.
The tournament was split into rounds and sections for kids in grades K-3 through K-12, allowing them to compete against one another in a Swiss-system-style tournament.
