Did you make a New Year’s resolution to hit the gym, train for a race or lose weight? Good for you, but here’s the thing. As you will read in the pages of the Weekly’s cover story this week, our Health & Fitness issue, most of the time, people drop their resolutions. (As per usual, by this time in January, I’ve reverted to my old ways and I am again always running late. I had a solid three weeks there.)
While this annual issue does not explicitly explore resolutions, it’s an underlying theme in many of the inspiring and quirky stories you can read. But here’s what struck me most that emerged as an accidental theme. So much of what actually makes us healthy is simply togetherness, more than specific goals.
